YardGPBetter as a group

Terms of Service

Effective date: July 17, 2026 Contact: hello@yardgp.com Entity: YardGP LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("YardGP," "we," "us").

1. What YardGP is (and isn't)

YardGP is a coordination platform. We help neighbors on a block team up, collect and organize bids from local home-service companies (lawn, AC, pest), verify certain company credentials, and facilitate the block's selection.

We do not perform home services. We are not a lawn, AC, or pest-control provider, contractor, employer, agent, or subcontractor of any company. We do not dispatch crews, schedule visits, set service prices, or perform work. You contract directly with the company your block selects. YardGP is not a party to that service agreement, and any service, payment, scheduling, quality, or dispute matter is between you and the company.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and a resident or authorized occupant of the address you provide. By using YardGP you confirm this.

3. Accounts and access

You can join a block without creating an account. When you take an action reserved to you (voting, opting in), we verify it's you via a one-time link or code sent to your phone or email. You're responsible for keeping access to that phone/email secure.

4. Your responsibilities

We may validate your address (e.g., via a third-party address service) and may remove entries we reasonably believe are false.

5. Verification — confirmed, not guaranteed

We check certain company credentials (state license status; a certificate of insurance on file) and display capacity information. This is confirmation that a record exists and appeared current when checked — not a guarantee of a company's competence, honesty, safety, insurance payout, or work quality. Credentials can lapse or change. You are responsible for your own decision to hire a company. We are not liable for a company's acts or omissions.

6. Membership fee

If your block reaches a deal and you opt into a service, YardGP charges a membership fee of $1 per home per month, per service (billed $12/year), and only then. The fee is disclosed before you commit. It is YardGP's fee for coordinating the block — separate from what you pay the company for the service itself, which you pay the company directly. Fees are processed by our payment processor (Stripe). During an initial period, membership may be provided at no charge; if so, this will be indicated, and any future fee applies only to opt-ins made after fees are enabled (never retroactively).

7. SMS / text message program

By providing your mobile number and joining a block, you agree to receive recurring transactional text messages from YardGP about your block: rally progress, bids, voting, opt-in reminders, service updates, and one-time login links. Message frequency varies with your block's activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe; you'll get one confirmation and no further messages. Reply HELP for help, or contact hello@yardgp.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to texts is not a condition of any purchase, though some identity-confirmed actions (voting, login) rely on it.

8. Company participation

Companies that bid agree to YardGP's standard terms (including month-to-month service with no early-termination or block-recompete penalty and no signup-discount clawback). We may decline, suspend, or remove a company at our discretion, including for failed verification, misrepresentation, or member reports. Removal from YardGP does not terminate your direct service agreement with a company; manage that with the company.

9. Complaints and rebidding

YardGP facilitates a block's ability to report objective service issues and, where corroborated and unresolved, to re-open bidding. We relay reports to companies without identifying who reported. YardGP does not adjudicate service quality, does not guarantee any outcome, and is not responsible for resolving service disputes — those remain between you and the company.

10. Prohibited conduct

No false addresses or identities; no abuse of complaints or suggestions; no scraping, reverse-engineering, or interfering with the platform; no unlawful, harassing, or fraudulent use. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

11. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YARDGP DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT ANY COMPANY, PRICE, SAVINGS, OR SERVICE OUTCOME.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YARDGP WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY ACTS, OMISSIONS, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR INJURY CAUSED BY ANY COMPANY. YARDGP'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (a) the membership fees you paid YardGP in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) US $100.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold YardGP harmless from claims arising out of your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your dealings with any company.

14. Dispute resolution — governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We intend to include a binding individual-arbitration and class-action-waiver provision; the specific arbitration provider, rules, venue, and any opt-out window will be finalized with legal counsel and posted here before general release. Until then, disputes are subject to Wyoming law and the courts or small-claims processes available under it.

15. Changes; termination; miscellaneous

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email, and continued use means acceptance. We may suspend or end the service or your access. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and YardGP regarding the platform.
